We want to thank you both for doing such a terrific job in selling our Riverwoods home!
We chose the two of you to represent us and our beautiful home last August because we felt that a seller does, indeed get "two for the price of one" with you-not only two competent, seasoned agents, but two different personalities with different strengths. We also chose you because we were very comfortable with you living and working in Riverwoods, a real plus in our situation because we were in Florida during the entire listing period. We knew that you had no problem with being at our house for accompanied showings, etc., something that we highly valued.
We also thank you for "sticking this one out." Obviously, this was not a simple real estate transaction. But, with your determination and hard work to make it happen- we had a closing! And, you were totally correct when you said that getting an offer isn´t the hard part of a sale, but rather seeing it through to the end, to the closing. And, what a terrific job you both did on that!
It is a plus that we know and trusted you both. When you said you were going to do something, you followed through and did it. And, that concerned everything from dealing with the buyers and their agents to overseeing the cleaning help and checking on the house sale crew.

It has been such a nice experience working with both of you that I decided to share my feelings in a letter. I love my home and have dreaded the idea of selling it for most of the last year. However, when my business finalized in Algonquin, IL I realized that I would have to sell. I knew I wanted to include you in the list of brokers I considered. Once we met to discuss the sale of my home I knew at once that I had found the best place to list my home. Your knowledge of the market and honest evaluation of where my home best fit into it was so different from what I had heard from other's; like the proverbial breath of fresh air! Some of the features that were unique to my home were subtle, yet valid and important if its potential price was to be obtained. You saw them the same way I did with no prompting.
My goal was to realize the highest NET selling price for my home; just like everyone else. Your evaluation and explanation of a pricing strategy made agreeing on a selling price easy. I was confident of our plan and even excited about being a part of the team that was going to make it happen. My dread and hang-dog posture was replaced with enthusiasm to meet the challenge.
The list of things that needed to be done was a long one. Yet you were patient while I struggled to get the work that needed to be done completed and encouraging as progress was made. The attaboys were always appreciated!
The follow-up and communication you provided was far better than I ever experienced in the sale of my other homes or properties. These differences stand out and are the reason I will request your help in my search for a new home even though it will be in a town several miles away.
I could go on and on but I will close by saying you have my sincere thanks for a job well done. The pleasure of working with you will stay with me long after I have moved from Riverwoods.
